Just a few weeks after celebrating their first birthday, Me Too! has been able to secure office space with grateful thanks to Evoke IT for being able to provide the office for this small, but growing charity.
Me Too! Magazine is a free quarterly magazine for families of children with additional support needs, comprising of diary events, benefits advice, parent-to-parent advice and other relevant articles. The distribution of the magazine is done largely through schools, community centres, sports centres, children with disabilities team and other partner charities. In only it’s first year readership of the magazine has grown to 28,500 in the north east where it is shared by parents and professionals alike. Me Too! is also multi award winning, having already secured ACVO’s Emerging Social Enterprise and a Services to the Community Award.Chief Executive Phionna McInnes said “It was time for the charity to grow and develop and securing larger office space for both myself and our volunteers was the natural way forward to help achieve this. Looking ahead, Me Too! magazine is to expand into Moray and Nairn as well as Dundee and Angus so getting the foundations sound at this stage is critical if the charity is to achieve continued success.
Laura Campbell of Evoke IT added “The team are delighted to welcome Me Too! to our offices on Carden Place. Evoke IT are admirers of the charity and their work and we’re thrilled to be able to support them in this new and exciting chapter.”
Me Too! has continued to develop links with businesses and charities throughout the Northeast, including “Relaxed Santa” sessions, a “Not Too Spooky Halloween Party” and monthly “Relaxed Play Sessions” at Smugglers Cove in association with Codonas – the first of their kind.
