Evoke IT celebrate a very successful début at Offshore Europe 2013!
Earlier this month Evoke IT exhibited at the largest Oil and Gas event in Europe, SPE Offshore Europe 2013, for 4 days from 3-6 September. The event, now in its 40th year, was attended by more than 6?3,000 visitors, an increase of 25% from the 2011 event, with 1500 plus organisations exhibiting.
George Osborne MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer was present on day one, giving a speech to the Offshore Europe Conference on the benefits Scotland can gain from the No?rth Sea by remaining part of the UK. Also in attendance was celebrity chef Nick Nairn, owner of Nick Nairn’s Cooking School in Aberdeen.?
Excitingly, the run up to the event saw our logo on display over Union Street, Aberdeen’s main shopping area. ??
We were part of the Aberdeen City and Shire Council Pavilion, which showcased local business?’ and their expertise. Our initial objectives were to increase brand awareness, raise our profile and get the name Evoke IT? out there. In addition we wanted to be top of mind whenever anybody is talking about SharePoint, which is increasingly used in the oil and gas industry to meet the challenges of communication and file sharing across different locations.?
SharePoint Solutions Director, Lee Harrison commented: “Offshore Europe was a big milestone for us. We have increased our brand awareness significantly and gained several very promising leads from this event. Overall, a great success”.
